Brasov is located in the central-Eastern part of Romania, and is one of the main Transylvania cities. With more than 340,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest city in Romania in terms of economic importance.

An investment opportunity of immense potential, Brasov is not just a highly developed economic centre, with industry employing more than 50% of the local population, but is one of the best preserved cities in Europe. An important tourist destination with beautiful German architecture dating back to the twelfth century when the Saxons settled.

Air - nearest airport is Bucharest-Otopeni. A new airport with capacity for 1 million passengers will be completed in Brasov by end 2008.
Rail - regular trains Bucharest to Brasov, journey time 2.5 hours.
Road - a new ring road has just been completed which has reduced the journey time to ski resorts, Poiana Brasov and Predeal. New motorway is under construction from Bucharest to Brasov.
